Turmeric Quinoa
2 Cups Quinoa
3 1/2 Cups Water
1/2 Tsp Salt
1 Tsp Turmeric
1/4 Tsp Black Pepper
1 Tbsp Oregano
2 Garlic Cloves (chopped or minced)
1 Sweet Yellow Pepper (chopped)
Bunch of Cilantro (Coriander)
In a saucepan add the water, quinoa, salt, turmeric, black pepper and oregano. Bring to a boil. Turn the heat down to a low (if your cooktop dial has numbers is @ 2) and cover. Cook for 20 minutes. Add the garlic and yellow pepper. Cook for 5 more minutes. Turn the heat off. Leave it with the lid 5 more minutes.
Serve and add some cilantro leaves on top. Enjoy! To your health!
